I bought my husband a pool table for x-mas thru Craigslist and it had a few marks on it. I used this and it made the felt look brand new. Great product and will definitely keep using it to clean the felt. It also has a great smell to it.

great product if your pool isnt too large.
The Polaris works better than any other above ground pool cleaner I have ever used. The only drawback is that I have a 30 foot pool and it cant seem to clean it all so I still have to vacuum. Adjusting the water pressure on the unit is alittle maddening also.

did the job for us!
This cleaner did the job we expected. It picked up leaves and sand/dirt at bottom of the pool. It is easy to use and works very well in corners where our brush wont get. We have used it three times and have not had an issue with battery life. We would definately recommend.

Don't waste the money
My X7 not only could not clean the whole pool it was broken down more times than a new product should be. It has no moving parts but the parts that are there tend to break very easy with a HIGH cost of repair for Plastic and rubber. One small plastic clip cost me $40. Now the diaphragm has split and I hate to see what that is gong to cost.
The X7 pushed the dirt around more than it picked it up and would not travel the whole pool no mater how I adjusted the weight hose pressure etc. I had to tie a rope to it to guide it manually.
It has been only a few months and I am looking to go back to a Hayward. It only broke down every 2 years and now I know the cost was less over a 2 year period to fix it.
UPDATE 6 months of use: the X7 will now cost me more to keep it running than to buy a Hayward Ultra 2025CS. ALL the parts are rotten cracked leaking and it never did clean the pool without me guiding it with a rope from the side.

Getting StuckI got my baracuda x7 after my old polaris 140 finally failed. Main problem with this cleaner is that it's getting stuck on my permanent steps every 20 min. I tried everything that they suggest in troubleshooting section and everything I could think of. I changed lenth of the hose position of the weight flow direction of flow of returns- still no result. I think that if rubber they made it from was more rigid it could prevent this problem. At this point I have no choice but return it.
